Sybaris celebrates
The world famous festival of San Fermin in Pamplona, Spain is a week of less than saintly activities held the second week of July every year. The bulls run through town to the bull ring with brave and/or drunk people running ahead of them every morning. After the running and before the late afternoon bullfight, much great food and even more beverage is consumed. After the bullfight, more of the same.
We have chosen some of the more popular (with the Spanish, not the tourists) dishes to offer- a nice assortment of appetizers (tapas in Spanish) and a main course traditionally made with the much sought after bull from the day before's fight.
Our version is made with bull meat (not from a fight PETA) slowly cooked with garlic, housemade chorizo sausage, roasted piquillo peppers and plenty of Spanish wine until tender. Dessert is a traditional warm cinnamon custard filled pastry.
assorted tapas including, but not limited to
braised bull, matador's style (as described above)
